■ Development Notes The factory we commissioned to produce this product is run by an owner with whom we have had a relationship since before the company was established, and it is a factory with an excellent reputation for metal parts processing. The owner previously worked at a metal parts factory before going independent, and we have always wanted to commission a product from this factory because we admire their meticulous attention to customer needs and their pride as engineers. In the development of components subjected to stress, numerous unpredictable problems arise, such as stress instability and surface treatment defects. Amidst these challenges, the factory has earnestly addressed them and conducted thorough verification tests. This carabiner is a standard small model, but for the anodizing process, we deliberately used "splash anodizing," which is usually avoided due to cost and product stability considerations. Incorporating splash anodizing into mass production is extremely rare and an incredibly time-consuming process, as the color varies greatly depending on the layers of anodizing applied. This time, the specially formulated primary colors give it an eye-catching finish. The factory I commissioned is a reliable one in Vietnam, and I have great respect for them for daring to take on the challenge of splash anodizing. Design Concept / 設計コンセプト

■Design Concept Anodizing is a technology that improves corrosion resistance and wear resistance by oxidizing the surface of aluminum. Normally, a uniform coating is required, so standard processing is often chosen for cost and product stability reasons. However, the splash anodizing used here deliberately creates individual differences in the coating, giving it a unique look and feel. Furthermore, by combining it with primary colors, we aimed to enhance visibility and design appeal, creating a presence unlike any other. This carabiner is not intended for use in situations involving high loads such as climbing; it is purely for accessory purposes. However, by using super duralumin, it has been made possible to withstand static loads of up to 60 kgf during the experimental stage. Designed for attaching keys, this carabiner does not have a barb. Therefore, it can be easily attached to loops and used anytime without worry. I think this will be very useful when attaching keys to backpacks or pouches, especially in situations where you're constantly moving back and forth. *This product is for accessory use only. Never use it for climbing or high-load activities. Because it is for accessory use, please limit the load to approximately 3kg.
