Waist belt + rear shock-cord set designed for the CREST 30
- Waist belt: Pass a belt carabiner through the 38mm loops at the bottom of the CREST 30's back panel to use it as a waist belt.
- Rear shock cord: Thread it through the four corner daisy chains to secure a sleeping pad.
- OBSI PACK connection: Run the waist belt through the rear hole of the OBSI PACK to use it as a waist pocket.

This product is a CREST 30 optional-parts set that includes a hip belt and a rear shock cord.

How to use the hip belt
At the bottom of the back panel of the CREST 30 there is a 38 mm webbing loop. Run a belt carabiner through it and you can use it as a hip belt.
There is no padding, but at 38 mm wide it still feels surprisingly good. The OBSI PACK has a horizontal slot at the back that takes a 38 mm webbing belt, so threading the same hip belt through it lets you use the OBSI PACK as a hip pocket as well.
How to use the rear shock cord
Run the cord through the daisy chains at the top, bottom, and both sides of the back panel — and you can lock down a sleeping mat as shown in the photos.
